So, our busy day ended on a high note with Marissa and Noelle's piano recital. It's always so great to hear their amazing musical talents being shared with everyone.

Marissa played "A Christmas Overture" which was a medley of about four different Christmas songs. She played wonderfully, even though she was so nervous that she said her knee was shaking so bad she could hardly press the pedal down.

After Noelle's award, we rushed her over to the recital which had started at the same time the award ceremony had started. As we were getting close, Kirk texted me saying that she was next, so we put the pedal to the metal and came screeching in just in time for her to play "Canon de Noel" beautifully. It was kinda nice, it was such a rush to get there, that she didn't even really have time to get nervous about it. Every year at the Christmas recital Noelle plays some variation of "The First Noel", but this piece was by far my favorite so far.

After our busy exciting day we celebrated by going to Oregano's for dinner. YUM!
