Remember This?

I don't know if you remember, but back in April we did some remodeling at our house. Basically, we pulled up our gross carpet and tile, painted a couple walls, and got a few new things to spruce up our house.

Remember my piano in my kitchen? I thought it would never get done!

Here's the finished product - Ta Da!

I love the way our dark wood floors look, but going from throw-up colored tile that you could go weeks between moppings, the wood is a lot of upkeep. I've decided that I'm not going to be crazy about it though, after all I live in a house full of kids, so there will be dust and cracker crumbs the majority of the time.

We got a couple new chairs, which I love, and painted this cute, light and refreshing blue color. I love it!

I decided to finally document the transformation, because I know from experience that in a few years, it will all be out of style. **Much like our couches of 1996. We thought they were the bomb - the perfect mixture of style and class! We would have never thought that burgundy and hunter green would ever go out of style!
