Noelle's teacher told her class that tonight Mars would be closer to the earth than usual and it would appear as big as the moon at exactly 12:35 am. She said this only happens once every 258 years or something. So, my girls thought, what better reason to have a party?!
They are going to sleepover at their friend Lauryn's house and sleep on the trampoline, ready for the Mars showing. They said they wanted to either have a "red theme" (since Mars is red), or to have an "alien theme", because supposedly scientists think there may be life on Mars. 
They all wore their t-shirts to school. Noelle was kinda embarrassed to wear it, since it wasn't a totally cute outfit, but decided that if she wore a "messy curly ponytail" she would still look cute enough for school.
I just read on the Internet though, that this whole Mars thing is a giant hoax, so hopefully they won't be crushed when/if they don't see anything. Any reason to make t-shirt, party, and sleepover is a good one, though!

Your girls are so awesome! LOVE the shirts. They will probably get everyone else believing it and cause a school-wide frenzy!

They KILL me. I absolutely adore them. It takes a great stylist to make a homemade t-shirt look chic.
