Beach Bound

During October Break we went down to Rocky Point with Kirk's family again. This year everybody faced their fears and made the trip, so it was lots of fun!!

We loved just hanging out together! It's kinda great that there's nothing that we wanted to do or place we wanted to go in Mexico, so we just all hung out together.

We found a lot of interesting things: dead baby sting rays and live crabs.

Here's the group playing crab roulette. Whoever moved when the crab went to attack lost. (Or else lost a toe.)

The kids hung out with their cousins all day and all night. It's so fun that they all have several cousins thier age that they all love.

The highlight of the trip was Kam proposing to Amy!! He proposed in a way that only someone that knows and loves Kam would appreciate. He took her out in a kayak and when the time was right he asked her to marry him and held out a ring. Then with all the excitement the ring went flying and dropped into the water. Instantly Amy dove in to search for it. After letting her search frantically for it for about five minutes, Kam pulled out the real ring and put it on her finger.

When they came paddling back all the kids were so excited they ran out to meet them and just about capsized the boats. Amy has five kids to go with Kam's two, making quite a crew. So much fun!!

One of our favorite things about this beach here in Rocky Point is that it has tons of shells! The kids could gather to their heart's content and find super cool shells.

The Nielson family is fun because they can make anything they do into a sort of game, and they always will let the little ones learn how or give it a try.

Eagan and Brynn learned how to skim board.

Many games of Cornhole were played.

Volleyball games got fierce.
