Marissa is 12!!

The long awaited day finally came! Marissa had her 12th birthday! She was up bright and early to open presents. She had said that all she wanted this year for her birthday was contacts (glasses are so last year...), and make-up, since she's now allowed to wear it!
Noelle was completely envious that she gets to wear make-up, so she bought her all of it, just wishing it was hers.

Marisa got to have a birthday party with some of her friends. We ate, went to the movies (they actually got to go to the movie by themselves - which was probably the highlight of the night), and had a scavenger hunt, then a sleepover.

On one of my friend's blogs she interviews her kids for their birthdays, so I thought I'd give it a try. So here's the interview with 12 year old Marissa:
How tall are you and what do you weight:
5'3" and 88lbs. (She was rather embarrassed by this, but really, can you imagine being that skinny?)
What is your favorite thing to do right now?
Be with friends, make movies, and listen to music.
What is one thing you're good at:
English and writing stories
What is your favorite food?
Dad's famous tri-tip steak
What is your least favorite food?
Scrambled eggs and pea soup
Who do you like to play with?
Lauryn, Ashlyn, Rachel, and all my new YW friends
What is your favorite book?
Lightning Theif
What do you like about school?
Seeing friends
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Artist or professional pianist
If you won a million dollars, what would you do with it?
Buy an awesome house with a swimming pool inside
We love you Marissa and are proud of the good girl that you are!
