Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! We had a great time spending time with family. We had dinner with my family and a lot of Huber cousins, and then went to spend time with Kirk's family that night. The weather was gorgeous and it was fun to be outside enjoying it for most of the day.
People had heard far and wide about Kirk's homemade sourdough dressing, so he brought it again this year - YUM!
I was in charge of the fruit tray again, so we made a fruit turkey again. It's good to stick with what you know.

My cousin, Eric, brought his air rocket launcher and know-how, and we spent the afternoon making and chasing rockets! The rockets went high and far and the kids tried to catch them, or in some cases, to not get hit by them.

Brynn and her rocket
Lizzie made a rocket that matched her outfit! It doesn't matter how well it flies if it matches you and looks cute!

Marissa making her high-flier!

Even Kirk made some.

Noelle didn't feel like making rockets (maybe that's the triptafan in the turkey talking), but she did an excellent job with Eric supervising!

We loved hanging out with and playing with all our aunts, uncles and cousins!
Brynn and my cousin Rachel's little girl, Jill (is that like a second cousin?) were fast friends and had a great time playing together!

Thanks Mom and Aunt Elaine who did all the work so we could have fun!

Thanks Dad for doing all the "behind the scenes" work (aka eating a lot of pie - just kidding - We all know it took a lot of time to get the best backyard on the block so all of us could enjoy eating outside on a beautifully warm Thanksgiving day!).

So fun! I'd love to try the homemade stuffing!

At first I thought Kirk was wearing a wrist brace in his picture with the stuffing before i realized it was a hot pad. A neck brace gets way more attention, Kirk!

p.s. Your Thanksgiving looks fun! Pretty sure it's my favorite holiday. Oh, and I need to try that stuffing. That sounds gooood!
