Feliz Navidad!

We had an awesome Christmas that was spent spending time with family. We didn't always remember to take pictures of things, and it's a good thing, or we'd have a whole book here.

We started it all out with Jones Family bowling - always a good time! It was so fun that Jake and Natalie and their kiddos were here with us - making the two hour drive several times that week just to join in on family fun!

Kirk's groove was off, even though he had brought his Purple Pin Crusher bowling ball. I almost beat him, which is unheard of. He was a good sport about it, though.

Mom was the nicest grandma and helped all the little kids roll the ball safely down the ramp.

We love bowling together, or at least taking pictures of bowling together!

Kirk decided to make my parents a picnic table for Christmas. In doing this, he had to get and use all of his Christmas presents early: a miter saw, sander, jig-something-that-I-don't-know. He had fun and it turned out great!!

Christmas morning was full of excitement - but won't be documented with pictures. Somehow they got deleted on the way to being downloaded. The best parts of it were: Santa leaving a trampoline (that sack must be really magic to fit that!) all set up and with Christmas lights around it. Liz and Brynn getting a huge Barbie house that is as tall as Lizzie. Marissa and Noelle getting stuff to re-do their room, including a chandelier and beanbag chair. Riss getting a flip camera that videos underwater even! (That's where our documentation is, except it's mostly really up close pictures or girls making weird faces.) The best part of the morning was that after they saw all the stuff that Santa had brought, the first thing everybody wanted to do was to give their gifts to us and to each other. They were so excited about they perfect gifts that they had found for their sisters.

Afterwards, we went to G&G Jones' then G&G Nielson's to play, then back to G&G Jones' for a Christmas program with acting out the nativity and music performances. It was great to end the night remembering the real reason for the celebration!
