Our 4th of July was so much fun! The weather was amazing! It was a little rainy in the morning. We had planned to go on a little bike ride, but it was sprinkling a little bit, but since this is AZ, we thought it would just sprinkle for a couple minutes and then blow over. Unfortunately (fortunately for the girls) it didn't blow over, and just got harder the further we got away from home. So we had nice bike ride in the rain.
During the afternoon, Kirk took Liz and Brynn bowling with his brother and kids. Marissa and Noelle went and cheered up one of the young women that broke her leg at girls camp, and is now stuck inside in bed all summer long. And I got to go shopping!
By evening the rain had gone, but just left us with nice cool weather. We had a nice barbecue at Kevin and Nicole's house, then went to Apache Junction HS to watch the fireworks. We ate snacks galore while we waited.
And Brynn did tricks galore too.
The firework show was awesome, and we had perfect seats right under them. Owen was a good sport, and wasn't even scared and didn't cry during them - but he just kept wanting to walk away from us. I guess we're not as cool as the drunk guys with glow sticks over yonder.
Hopefully next year everybody won't be out of town and we'll be able to party with the Huber group and the rest of the Jones'. We missed eating deep fried pancakes and feeding metal stars to babies. :) Maybe next year! So fun!!

Looks great. It may have been cooler in AZ than it was in MI...it was so hot!!
