We got a great storm yesterday afternoon where it rained HARD for about an hour. The girls went out and played in the rain, rode bikes in the rain and just loved the fact that it was raining long enough to enjoy it.
Afterwards the retention basins by our house were quite full, so Kirk, being the fun dad that he is, got out one of our kayaks to do some urban kayaking.
Marissa was babysitting, so unfortunately she missed out on the fun, but Noelle, Liz and Brynn all took turns paddling, pushing and riding. They had running vs. boat races and standing up in the boat without tipping contests.
It was so much fun! So glad we were able to enjoy it!
