As part of our family's new year resolution to be more active, we decided to go on a little hike on Saturday. We had heard that the little hike up to the A on the mountain by ASU was a fun, cool little hike.
I guess the mountain has an actual name, not just "A". Here we are before we get started. Don't we look excited to partake of the lovely AZ wildlife? Can we just say Arizona does have some pretty desert places, just not here! 
We made it to the top!! It really wasn't a hike, more of a really steep walk, with paved trail, and stairs in the steep part, and people running up it, or hiking it in flip flops. But, that being said, maybe we need to work on the other New Years resolution about being more in shape, because Noelle and I were DYING! We were basically crawling up it, and then being mad at Liz and Brynn because they were running up it, backwards and forwards. Lame!
Max even made the hike. Brynn carried him all the way, as she was running up the mountain.

Then we pushed Marissa and Liz down the mountain and made them climb the wall back up. Okay, not really, but isn't Lizzie really selling it? 
Thanks AZ for having beautiful January weather so we can try and appreciate our beautiful outdoors!

Maybe "A" is for activity. This does look like a fun one. Good resolution.
you guys are such a fun family. I think I did that hike once at night, on Valentines day, and there were people making out all over the place.... sounds like yours was a better experience!
